Frequently Asked Questions

Can we bring our dog?

Yes! You certainly can and we know how important the fury members of families are. (We worship our daft, old Greyhound!). We welcome one small or medium sized dog per booking and charge £40 per stay.

Does the cabin come with towels and bed linen?

Yes. Bed linen and towels are all in!

Is there wifi?

Sure is. All in.

Is there a coffee maker?

Yup. There’s a cafetière and we provide fresh ground coffee from local ‘Exe Coffee Roasters’. (We also provide instant coffee, tea bags, milk and sugar. We even throw in a box of biscuits too, for the ‘biscuit-dunkers’ out there!)

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 4pm till 8pm and check out is at 10am.

Is there any parking?

Yes. Plenty. 2-3 spaces directly next to the cabin and 1-2 spaces at the top of the driveway.

Is there a pub nearby?

Yes. There are several pubs within a short drive from The Kuhvee. Sadly, our local pub in the village, closed down recently, but we hope it won’t be long before it reopens up again soon. You can find out more about all our favourite pubs in the guest information book inside the cabin.

Is there heating?

The cabin is super cosy! With a wood burner, underfloor central heating and a heated towel rail in the bathroom, you’ll be toasty the whole time. The cabin is very well insulated with triple glazed windows so all that warmth stays put for year-round comfort.

Can we get to The Kuhvee by public transport?

Yes. We are fairly remote considering our proximity to Exeter, however, there is a bus stop at the end of our 1.5 mile lane if you like walking! Closest main train station is in Exeter and if you’d rather not wait for a bus, a taxi would get you to our place in around 10 mins and cost around £10.

Is there an oven?

Yes. Kitchen is kitted out with all the basic mod cons. Oven, grill, induction hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, utensils etc.
